This page explains how dolly-kasyno.pl uses cookies and similar technologies. We set a small number of cookies to make the site work properly and to understand how visitors use it. Third-party services we embed—analytics providers, advertisers—may set their own. You can control most of them through your browser, and we'll walk you through how.

Cookies in plain terms

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. It might remember a preference you set, keep you logged in, or tell us which pages you visited so we can improve the layout. Cookies don't carry viruses and they can't access anything else on your device—they're passive data, readable only by the site (or script) that created them.

We use them for three reasons: keeping the site functional, measuring traffic, and funding the work through advertising. The first category is essential; the other two need your agreement under UK data-protection law, which is why you see a consent banner when you first arrive.

What dolly-kasyno.pl stores and for how long

Our own cookies fall into a few groups, set out in the table below. Each one has a purpose and an expiry—some disappear when you close the tab, others stay for months so you don't have to reset preferences every visit.

Category Purpose Duration
Strictly necessary Session management, security, consent choices Session or up to 12 months
Analytics Page views, referral sources, device type Up to 24 months
Advertising Ad delivery, frequency capping, attribution Up to 12 months
Preference Language choice, layout settings Up to 6 months

The strictly necessary ones keep the site working—without them you can't submit a contact form or see the consent banner in the first place. Analytics cookies tell us which sections get read and which don't, so we know where to put effort. Advertising cookies let us show relevant offers and pay for hosting. Preference cookies remember small choices—whether you dismissed a notification, for instance—so the site feels less repetitive.

What happens to the data

Cookie data stays on your device until it expires or you delete it. When a cookie sends information back to us—a page view, a click—that data is aggregated and anonymised. We don't tie individual browsing patterns to a name or email address. The one exception is when you write to us through the contact form: that submission is linked to your message so we can reply, and it's covered by our privacy policy instead.

Scripts and services we don't control

We embed a handful of third-party tools—Google Analytics for traffic reports, advertising networks to fund the site, social-media widgets if you want to share a page. Each of those services can set its own cookies, and their behaviour is governed by their own privacy policies, not ours. The consent banner lists them by name so you can accept or refuse each category.

Common third parties on this site include analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Matomo), advertising exchanges, and content-delivery networks that speed up page loads. We chose suppliers that offer opt-out mechanisms and that comply with UK and EU data-protection rules, but we can't police what they do once the script loads—check their own policies if you want the detail.

Blocking third-party cookies

Most browsers let you block third-party cookies while allowing first-party ones (the ones set by the site you're actually visiting). That middle ground keeps the site functional and cuts out most tracking. Safari and Firefox block third-party cookies by default; Chrome and Edge require you to toggle the setting. Instructions are in the section below.

Managing cookies without breaking the site

You have three levers: the consent banner when you first arrive, your browser's own cookie controls, and the site's preference centre (if we've built one—check the footer). Refuse analytics and advertising through the banner and you'll still see every page; the site just won't remember you came back or fund itself as well. Refuse strictly necessary cookies and forms won't submit.

Browser settings

Every major browser lets you view, delete and block cookies. The setting is usually under Privacy or Security. Here's where to find it in the four most common ones:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. Toggle "Block third-party cookies" or choose "Clear cookies and site data when you close all windows".
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. Pick Standard, Strict or Custom; Strict blocks most trackers and third-party cookies by default.
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy. Tick "Prevent cross-site tracking" and "Block all cookies" if you want a hard line—bear in mind some sites will stop working.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies. Choose "Block third-party cookies" or clear them on exit.

Clearing cookies logs you out of every site at once and resets preferences, so it's a blunt tool. Blocking third-party cookies is usually enough to limit tracking without losing functionality. If a page breaks after you tighten the settings, add an exception for that domain or switch back to the default.

Mobile browsers

The principle is the same—iOS Safari and Chrome on Android both have a Privacy or Site Settings menu—but the layout varies by version. Look for "Block cookies" or "Clear browsing data" and you'll find the controls. Apps that open links in their own in-app browser (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) bypass these settings entirely, which is one reason to use a standalone browser when you can.

Updates to this text

We revise this policy when the law changes, when we add a new third-party service, or when we realise something wasn't clear the first time. The date at the bottom of the page shows the last update. We won't email you about small wording changes, but if we start using cookies in a fundamentally different way—tracking offline behaviour, sharing data with a new category of partner—we'll let you know through a banner or a notice on the homepage.

Old versions aren't archived here. If you need to see what the policy said on a particular date, write to [email protected] and we'll send you the text we had live at the time.
